MMM Corones - Lumen - Alpinn - Two museums and a restaurant on the summit plateau of Kronplatz
At MMM Corones everything focuses on traditional alpinism, which was decisively influenced by Reinhold Messner. In the unique museum building with its parametric forms, created by Zaha Hadid, the focus is on the view of the mountain peaks encircling Kronplatz.
The Lumen is dedicated to mountain photography. The permanent exhibition and temporary exhibitions deal with the history of mountain photography, with the artistic-poetic exploration of the atmosphere of the mountains, but also with the commercial use of the mountains as an advertising medium.
At Alpinn, chef Norbert Niederkofler's "Cook the Mountain" concept attempts to link mountain culture and tradition with cuisine and gastronomy from around the world. This symbiosis can contribute to global, sustainable growth and provide the impetus for a new economic-social development that considers all aspects of the close interrelationship between product, producer and consumer.
