From the Mountain Residence Montana follow the road uphill towards Ampfertaler Höfe. Continue towards path n. 10 towards Ascht Alm (1950m, refreshment stop). From there along the forest road towards Pfinnalm. From the Pfinnalm via the Almweg 2000 further towards Kasertal. From there continue in the direction of Durra Alm. Continue on Almweg 2000 towards Verbon and Weißbach Alm. From the Weißbach Alm you could continue on the Almweg 2000 towards Gsiesertörl and then descend via the Pidig Valley. As this hike is very long, you can also make the hike shorter by descending back into the valley at the Durra Alm, Verbon or Weißbach Alm.
