The hike begins at the valley station of the Haunold chairlift, which takes you up to 1500m. From here, follow the well-marked hiking trails. First take trail no. 6A, which leads through a beautiful forest landscape. Later you change to path no. 7 in the direction of the Gemeindekaser and enjoy the view of the surrounding mountains.

After the junction, follow path no. 7A in the direction of Innerfeld Valley and Dreischüsterhütte. The path follows the slope, then descends slightly into the valley. Once you reach the bottom, hike into the valley on trail no. 105 for approx. 15 minutes and take a leisurely break at the Dreischusterhütte.

Then hike back on trail no. 105. You pass the Gasthof Zur Klaus/Alte Säge until you reach a parking lot, from where you can take the bus back to San Candido.
