From the car park above the Mudler in Taisten (1622m, refreshments available), follow the forest road marked No. 31. After the first bend, take a path to the left to reach the forest road directly. Cross the road and follow the red and white markings and trail no. 31. After a while you will see the summit cross of the Lutterkopf (2145m). The rest of the tour goes over open alpine pastures. Always following the ridge, you reach a fence after a longer hike, which leads directly down to the Taistner Vorderalm (2012m, refreshments available). If you wish, you can continue hiking to tackle the final ascent to the Durakopf (2275m). From the summit, the trail descends eastwards to Klenkboden (2186m) and from there southwards across an extensive alpine meadow to the Taistner Vorderalm (2012m, refreshments available). If you continue along the alpine path, you will return to the starting point.
