From the valley road in St.Martin/Gsieser Tal (1276m) follow trail no. 36 to the Karbacher Hof (1440m). From there follow trail no. 42 into the Karbach valley and on to the Ochsenfeldalm pasture (2014m). The trail continues northwestwards to the Grüblscharte (2394m), where you turn right and then follow trail no. 9 to reach the Ochsenfelder Seen (2555m). Descent: The descent can be made via the ascent route.
