From the Mountain Residence Montana along the cycle path to Monguelfo (or alternatively from Monguelfo), continue along the bike path to Valdaora to the Gassl valley station. Continue over the pass road to the Passo Furkelpass. From there along forest paths and asphalt roads almost to San Vigilio. There begins the difficult (up to 23%) and long ascent through the Fojedöra valley to the highest point of Somamunt and the Fojedöra high alpine pasture. But the strenuous climb is worth it, a fantastic panorama of the Fanes-Sennes-Braies Nature Park awaits you. There follows a long, top-class single trail which leads downhill through the Lärchental to the Grünwaldalm and to the Braieser Lake. From there along the cycle path back to Welsberg and back to the Mountain Residence Montana.
