General weather situation
A strong high-pressure system centred over Central Europe is determining the weather, but on the southern side of the Alps the air masses are layered in an unstable manner.
Sunshine will be widespread until the afternoon. Later on, a few thunderstorms may develop.
Sunshine will prevail from early morning until evening, with only a few shallow cumulus clouds developing. In the valleys close to the Alpine crest, a northerly Föhn wind will blow.

On Monday, sunny skies and very hot midsummer conditions will continue. During the second half of the day, some high clouds will pass through, while the risk of thunderstorms will remain low.Tuesday will once again begin with plenty of sunshine. During the afternoon, the likelihood of thunderstorms will increase in the hot and humid air.Wednesday will also start off mostly sunny. During the afternoon, scattered heat thunderstorms will develop across South Tyrol.There will be little change on Thursday, with plenty of sunshine and isolated afternoon thunderstorms.
