Cross country skiing
The Casies Valley also makes the hearts of sportsmen beat faster in winter. The cross-country ski runs in the Casies Valley, famous for their perfect snow conditions, are perfectly prepared every day and, thanks to their 42 kilometres of slopes, are ideally suited to all requirements. Whether skating or classic, the cross-country ski run leads through the whole of the Casies Valley and is now very famous for the annual Gran Fondo Val Casies.
Skiing
In the immediate vicinity of our Mountain Residence Montana is the Skilift of Santa Maddalena, a small but very sunny ski area with ski school and ski rental, ideal for skiing for children, beginners and families.
Moreover, the Casies Valley is the ideal starting point to the ski paradise "Dolomiti Superski", the biggest ski carousel of the world, to the Plan de Corones, to Corvara (Sellaronda), and to the ski area Tre Cime Dolomites.
Snowshoeing
