How far away is the ski area?
The Gassl valley station in Valdaora can be reached in 20-25 minutes by car. There is a large free parking lot.
Is there a ski bus?
There is a free ski bus that starts at 08.30 or 09.30 at the Residence. Return at 15.30 or at 16.30
The ski bus takes guests to the train station in Welsberg. From there you can reach the valley station Percha with the Ski-Pustertal-Express in 13 minutes.
Both the ski bus and the ski train are free of charge.
Who are the slopes suitable for?
The Kronplatz is certainly the best and most varied ski area in South Tyrol. The Plan de Corones offers mainly ski slopes of medium and higher difficulty. The slopes are very well prepared and very wide. The lifts are mostly new and very fast, there are hardly any queues. There are four valley runs at Kronplatz. The highlight are the "Black Five" - the 5 black slopes: Sylvester, Herrnegg, Pre da Peres, Erta and Piculin
