From the Mountain Residence Montana you walk towards the ski slope and follow it. At the end of the ski slope turn left onto forest path no. 12 and follow it until you reach the Aschtalm (1950m). You can continue on the forest path no. 12 to the Pfinnalm, alternatively you can turn right 200m after the Aschtalm and ascend through the light forest to the Pfinnalm. From the Pfinnalm you continue to climb up to the saddle on the left of the Hoher Mann. The ascent takes 20-30 minutes over the ridge. The summit slope can only be skied when the snow cover is stable. The descent is via the ascent route.
