From the Mountain Residence Montana you walk towards the ski slope and follow it. At the end of the ski slope turn left on the forest path n. 12 which leads to the Ascht Alm. Shortly after crossing a small bridge, turn right into the Kaserbachtal Valley (see signs). Ascent to the first steep step. Now on the right side of the valle pass a few old huts, continue over a few steep steps towards the easily recognizable saddle. After the saddle turn right to the summit.
