From the parking lot at the Restaurant Bergasthaus Mudler, follow the forest path marked no. 31 to the west. After the first bend, take a steep, somewhat bumpy path on the left to get directly to the higher forest road. Cross the forest road and follow the red and white markings and the path marked 31, which is characterized by a fantastic mountain panorama and soon you will see the cross on the summit of the Lutterkopf (2145m). The rest of the tour takes you through free alpine pasture land. Always following the crest, after a long hike you reach a fence with an opening that leads directly down to the Taistner Vorderalm (2012m). However, one continues hiking to tackle the last ascent to the Durakopf (2275m). From the summit, the trail then heads east down to Klenkboden (2186m) and from there southwards across an extensive alpine meadow to the Taistner Vorderalm (2012m, refreshment stop). To get back to the starting point you continue on the alpine pasture path or the toboggan run.
