From the skilift in Santa Maddalena (1460m) follow the signpost no. 47 to the Köfleralm (1806m). There you leave the forest path and follow, keeping to the right, a narrow path which leads over scarps to the Kasermähderalm (2048m). The gentle snowy slopes of the "Stieresböden" lead to the left to the Heimwaldjöchl (2648m), where you turn right and reach your destination after about 15 minutes.
