From the starting point, walk along the old Gsieser road into the valley until you reach the Schuier and Kohler farms. At the first junction, turn left and cross the Talbach stream to reach the hamlet of Wiesen. After crossing the main road, you will then see the Herz-Jesu chapel on the left hamlet road. Now the trail leads through the forest to Oberpichl. On the way there, you finally reach the church of St. Nicholas. If you are impressed by the landscape, you can extend your hike by passing the Turmhotel Gschwendt (refreshment stop) on the left and continuing straight ahead at the next crossroads towards the hamlet of Henzing. A field path leads down to the Restaurant-Pizzeria Binta Pub (refreshment stop). From there, follow the main road for a few metres until you turn right at the next crossroads and walk straight on to the hamlet of Durnwald, past the Durnwald restaurant (refreshments available). At the Maria Hilf chapel, turn left and walk past the Hotel Waldheim (refreshments) to return to the starting point.
