From the starting point, walk through the village centre, past the music pavilion/main square on the right and straight on to the bridge that crosses the Gsieser Bach stream. There you follow the signs for "Große Schlossrunde" on the old Gsieser Tal road in an easterly direction. After walking for about 50 minutes, turn right and cross the wooden bridge. After this bridge, keep to the left and then walk slightly uphill until you meet the old Schlossweg. From there, continue out of the valley through the forest, past Welsperg Castle and back to the starting point.
