From the starting point in St. Magdalena/Gsieser Tal (1460m), hike across the stream, then uphill towards Habererhöfe and out of the valley on the old Gsieser road towards Welsberg. Below the Weckerlerhof, follow the path of reflection on the left. At the hamlet of Kapairen, cross the main road and walk along the Gsieser Bach stream to Pichl. Always following the Talblickweg, you reach meadows after about 5 km and the village centre of Taisten after the last few kilometres. In Taisten you can then take the bus back.
